Hot Water Bottles Safety Instructions
• 2 Litre hot water bottle
• Approx. Depth: 4.3cm
• Red, blue, purple and cream, colours are mixed per inner carton.
• Do not use boiling water when filling the hot water bottle.
• Fill to maximum 2/3 with water at safe temperature.
• Hold the bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back.
• Expel air from the bottle by lowering it carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening.
• Screw the stopper sufficiently tight to ensure that there is no leakage.
• Finger tight should be adequate.
• Finally ensure the funnel is empty.
• Hot water bottles can cause burns. Avoid prolonged direct contact with the skin.
• Do not fill using water from the domestic water system as hard water can considerably shorten the life of the bottle.
• Always ensure the hot water bottle is not too hot and doesn’t have any leakages before use.
• When not in use, drain completely and keep, with the stopper removed, in a cool, dry and dark place.
• Check the hot water bottle and stopper for wear and damage at regular intervals.
• Prevent contact with hot surfaces.
• Prevent contact with oil or grease.
• Prevent exposure to sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children and babies.
• Do not lie or sit on the hot water bottle.
• Keep away from fire.
• Avoid using the hot water bottle if there any signs of wear, damage or perishing.
• This hot water bottle is made of natural rubber (latex) which may cause an allergic reaction.
